I feel extremely elated and gratified to have been associated with the Institute in various capacities since its inception, including my present stint as Principa l. With more tha n two d eca des of experience of imparting technical education, the Institute has now grown in number and volume in terms of faculty, infrastructure, students and activities. The processes a nd outcome have become more mature, the presence has become more far-reaching through collaborations and Alumni network.
While academic discipline is important for the stu dents to score consistent ly good in t he semesters, it is equally important to explore and learn technology beyond the syllabus. They must acquire knowledge/skill/certification on different emerging domains like Al, ML, IOT, Cyber Security, CAD CAM, Robotics, and BIStandard through projects, training, internships, online certificate courses of Swayam/NPTEL/NASSCOM/Solid works etc. to make themselves industry-fit and readily employable . A culture of new technology learning is gradually setting in, which can very well be projected as the USP of KINGSTON POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE. Kingston Polytechnic College is focused to impart knowledge and skill based education to the students of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Computer science and technology through dedicated need based hands on training and OJT. Besides having academic collaborations with some Institutes/ Universities/government organizations, we are always keen to develop partnership with core industry /academia, so that our students and faculty gets industry-exposure through training, internship, project and R&D, creating job-ready engineers to meet the powerhouse of industry. Planned approach is also taken up for escalating ' Research & Innovation, Social out reach & Entrepreneurship Endeavours' which ca n play instrumental role in accreditations and institute ranking. Kingston has got the notable recognition as a host Institute of MSME (Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises by The Government of India, and also got the Approval of three ideas/ proposals under "MSME Idea Hackathon 3.0 (Women)" under the Incubation Component of MSME Innovative Scheme. An ecstatic feeling, a feeling to keep going on and achieve the horizon of ultimate happiness.
