Necessary Documents Required
- Passport size photo.

- Mark sheet of Madhyamik Examination

- The first page of Bank passbook.
- Income certificate.
- In case of rural areas Jt. Any Government officer/officer not below the rank of BDO
- Deputy Commissioner of Municipality / Corporation / Gazetted Officer in Group-A
- Domicile certificate as Aadhaar ID/Voter ID/Ration Card/ Certificate Issued by concerned authority
- Declaration by Head of the Institution: This is necessary if you’ve indicated a year gap in your qualifications. It explains the reason for the gap and will be available for selection if you registered qualifying exams for 2022 or earlier.
Documents to be uploaded for Renewal Application
- Copy of the marksheet of the last examination in the present course of study. (Both sides and in case of semester examination system, both semester marksheets).
- Admission receipt for the promotion to the next higher class.

SVMCM Eligibility for Different Courses
The Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, offered by the Higher Education Department of West Bengal, aims to provide financial support to deserving students based on their academic performance and family income. The eligibility criteria for various levels of education are as follows:
HS Level
- Family income not exceeding Rs. 2,50,000/- per annum.
- Minimum qualifying marks of 60% in aggregate in Madhyamik Pariksha.
- Total marks obtained in Madhyamik Pariksha (excluding pass marks in additional subjects, if any) will be the sole criterion for consideration.
- Only candidates from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education are eligible.
Diploma Courses (Polytechnic) Level
- Enrolled after passing-out in Secondary (M.P.) Examination or its equivalent in 2023 for first-year Diploma (Polytechnic) courses.
- For lateral entry to the 2nd year Diploma (Polytechnic) courses, candidates must have passed H.S./ equivalent Examination or ITI 2 years.
- Minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination (excluding marks secured in optional elective subjects, if any).
- Courses must be approved by AICTE/PCI/CoA and affiliated to WBSCT&VE&SD.
UG College Level
- Minimum qualifying marks of 60% in aggregate in the H.S. Examination conducted by the W.B. Council of H.S. Education/Madrasha Siksha Parishad.
- Separate merit lists for UG (Arts), UG (Commerce), and UG (Science) courses.
PG University Level
- Graduates securing at least 53% marks in the Honours subject at the graduation level.
- Marks obtained in Honours subject will be the sole academic criterion for awarding scholarships.
- Kanyashree recipients (K-2) pursuing PG courses in Science, Arts, and Commerce streams from State universities after obtaining UG Degree with 45% marks in aggregate are eligible.
- No need for Income Certificate and Income Affidavit for Kanyashree students applying for K-3 scholarship.
Research Level
- Full-time M.Phil. or Ph.D. research scholars, non-NET candidates and NET-LS candidates are eligible.
- Registration as of 01/04/2017 or later, up to the day of dissertation submission (subject to time limits).
- NET-LS scholars must inform the University authorities upon appointment as teachers.

SVMCM 2023 Application Procedure
Students must go through the SVMCM Scholarship 2023 Application process listed below to avail this scheme of scholarship.
- Step 1 - Applicants will be required to fill the SVMCM 2023 registration form that is available on the SVMCM scholarship official website - svmcm.wbhed.gov.in.
- Step 2 - An Applicant ID will be generated after submitting the SVMCM registration form 2023. Use it to Swami Vivekananda Scholarship login and fill in the whole SVMCM application form 2023. Also, upload the scanned copies of photograph and signatures.
- Step 3 - After submitting the SVMCM application form 2023, ‘Scanned Supporting Document Upload’ page will appear on the screen. Students will be required to upload the documents.
- Step 4 - After successfully uploading the documents, check the whole application form in view mode and then click on ‘Submit Application’ to complete the SVMCM 2023 application process.
Renewal Application Process for SVMCM
- Step 1: At First go to the official SVMCM Scholarship Government Portal @svmcm.wbhed.gov.in
- Step 2: Then, Log in With Your Previous Application ID of Fresh Year, Password, fill Captcha and Log in Successfully for Net Step.
- Step 3: After Successfully Log in, You can See your Scholarship Profile, Your Picture, ID, Phone Number etc.
- Step 4: In Profile Page Your Application and Document Upload will Show Pending, So you have to Complete your Renewal Process.
- Step 5: At First, Click Edit/View Profile and Dashboard will Open at Left Sidebar.
- Step 6: You will see your Application Details and Edit Application Renewal Option. To Continue, Click Renewal Process.
- Step 7: For submit your Marks You Have to Fill,
- Your Last Year Exam of University/College
- Total Marks
- Marks You Got (Obtained Marks)
- Your Percentage (More Than 60% for Eligible)
So, for College Student You Have to Convert your SGPA/YGPA into Percent for it. And Also calculate total Marks of Exam (i.e. 1600) of Total year from Your Syllabus and Question Pattern.
- Step 8: After filling your Marks, Go to the next Step for Document Upload.

- Marksheet of Last Exam Scanned Copy (Both side, Both Sem, PDF Format)
- Current Year Academic Payment Details
- Step 10: After Uploading your Marksheet and Fees Receipt of Academic Year, agree terms and Submit Finally. Your “SVMCM RENEWAL” application is Successfully Done.
- Step 11: Then, you will get a Receipt as PDF Format Print that For College Submission and Future Reference.

Renewal of HS Students
Only 1 time Renewal, Class 11th Marksheet needed as Marks Proof.
Renewal of General Degree/PG Degree Students under DPI (Directorate of Public Education)
- 1st Renewal: Submission of SEM 1 and SEM 2 Marksheet required
- 2nd Renewal: Submission of SEM 3 and SEM 4 Marksheet required
Renewal of B.Tech/B.Pharm Students
- 1st Renewal: Submission of SEM 1 and SEM 2 Marksheet required
- 2nd Renewal: Submission of SEM 3 and SEM 4 Marksheet required (both Side)
- 3rd And Final Renewal: Submission of SEM 5 and SEM 6 Marksheet required
Renewal of MBBS Students
- 1st Renewal: With submission of 1st MBBS marksheet.
- 2nd Renewal: 2nd Prof MBBS marksheet will need to be furnished for the 2nd renewal in the following year.
- 3rd And Final Renewal: 3rd Prof Part 1 MBBS marksheet will need to be furnished for the 3rd and final renewal in the following year.
