Title : - Device for women self defense

Incubatee :- Student Khayali Das BSc 2nd Year Microbiology Hons, Kingston College of Science
Mentor :- Mr. Arghyadeep Bhattacharjee, Assistant Professor and HoD, Department of Microbiology, Kingston College of Science

Brief explanation of innovative Idea

A Taser with a torch and locator combines multiple functions into a single device, offering unique advantages for personal safety and security. Here are some of the key aspects that make this combination unique: Dual Functionality: The Taser with a torch and locator serves as both a self-defense tool and a practical utility device. It integrates the functions of a Taser, a flashlight, and allocator into a single compact unit. Self-Defense Capability: The Taser component provides a non-lethal means of self-defense. It delivers an incapacitating electric shock to temporarily disable an attacker, giving the user an opportunity to escape or seek help. Tasers are known for their effectiveness and are widely used by law enforcement agencies worldwide. Locator Function: The locator feature is a unique addition that enhances the devices usefulness. It allows the user to track and locate the Taser if it is misplaced or lost. This can be particularly helpful in situations where quick retrieval of the device is necessary or to prevent unauthorized access. Integration and Convenience: By combining these functions into a single device, the Taser with a torch and locator eliminates the need to carry multiple items separately. This integration offers convenience, making it easier for individuals to have essential self-defense tools readily accessible when needed. Portability: The compact size and lightweight nature of the combined device make it easily portable.

The most distinctive feature of this device is its integration of three essential functions into one compact unit. Combining a high-quality flashlight (torch), a reliable taser, and a GPS-based locator in a single device offers users a versatile tool that covers various safety and emergency needs.

Idea 3

Title :- e-Cleaning Device for Vegetable disinfection

Incubatee :- Mrs. Sudipta Ghosh Sur
Mentor :- Mr. Abirlal Mondal, Lecturer in ETCE, KEI-KPC

Brief explanation of innovative Idea

"Health is wealth," and this principle drives the integration of women into the project of creating a vegetable cleaning device. By leveraging automation, this initiative introduces women to new technology, enhancing their skills and providing a source of income, thereby alleviating boredom. This project not only fosters economic empowerment but also promotes a hygiene-based community kitchen with chemical-free foods. The automatic system significantly reduces the time required to wash food ingredients, making the process more efficient and less labor-intensive. Women, even those who are unskilled, can easily operate the device, broadening the scope of participation. This accessibility ensures that more women can be involved, contributing to their personal and professional development.

One of the standout benefits of this system is its environmental impact. The device is designed to minimize groundwater wastage by incorporating water reuse mechanisms. This feature not only conserves water but also aligns with sustainable practices, benefiting the community and the environment.

Additionally, the device's compact design requires only a small area for operation, making it suitable for various kitchen sizes. This space efficiency ensures that the technology can be adopted in different settings, from individual households to larger community kitchens. By engaging women in this innovative project, the initiative not only empowers them but also promotes healthier eating habits and sustainable living. The community benefits from reduced chemical exposure in food, enhanced hygiene, and efficient resource use, leading to a holistic improvement in well-being. Through this project, women are not only participants but also drivers of positive change in their communities.

The e-Cleaning device is an automated system for disinfecting vegetables, incorporating advanced sensors and microcontrollers to ensure thorough cleaning. It features a compact design for efficient space utilization, water reuse capabilities to minimize wastage, and user-friendly controls, making it accessible to unskilled workers.
