Kingston Polytechnic College has stepped into its 20th year of its existence since it started its journey way back in 2004 with 4 departments: - ME, EE, CST, CE. There after in 2010 with the introduction of Civil Engineering and in 2011 with the introduction of Automobile Engineering, KPC has a rich and glorious heritage in education and training both in and outside the state of West Bengaland around.

It conducts various internal trainings in the domain subjects both within and beyond the curriculum. External trainings and industrial visits are being conducted every year. On Job Training (OJT) is something which KPC can really boast of. Students of ME, EE, AE and ETCE were sent for hands on industrialtraining at Dhoot Transmission, Yazakin India for a period of 4 months. This is something an achievement beyond the horizon. We offer 60 hrs internal training programs where students are groomed on soft skills and also on domain knowledge, shaping them for the finest position in the job world. Group discussions are conducted in between classes so that students are industry ready and can smartly appear in pre-placement interviews.
Internal Training - Internal training is an integral part of Diploma curriculum. Here students are groomed in both the soft skills & hard skills. Trainings like CNC Programming & machining, Advanced Welding Processes, Industrial Project Entrepreneurship, Advanced Solid Works & Catia Trainings (In Association with Pelf lnfotech) are given to the students for their developments outside the course curriculum. External Training - Hand-in-hand collaboration with Dhoot Transmission Pvt. Ltd, Yazaki India Pvt. Ltd., Tata Power, external training & also OJT (ON JOB TRAINING) is conducted for the students of ME, EE, AE department on a periodical basis.
